Well after quite a while, I’m going to update what is the progress of 50 Pages Website. Even though it is cool off now but we still received few submissions each month.
12 pages already sold out and few more pages will sold out soon, some of the spot already filled. We still have a strong PR5 link on the mainpage and some of inner pages have a PR of at least 3.
I never set a timeframe for when all pages going to be sold out but I will keep on promoting 50 Pages Website every month.

I discovered this site about a month ago but at that time the site design looks very amateurish and since the owner of the website is from the same country as me, I am too shame to blog about it.
I had heavily criticising the website in my personal blog. But this guy decided to take the challenge and redesign the entire website and I am really impressed.

I just purchased the top spot at King of the Bill for $91 and currently, I am the king and I really hope it will last for few days.
One thing I don’t like about King of the Bill is we don’t have any idea how long it will stay at the top. It could last for few days, but sometime just few minutes. So, it is a little bit like a gamble because you pay to advertise your site and pray that nobody will pay higher than you, at least for few days.
For me, once the price is higher advertiser will think twice to purchase the top spot because it might be worth the money they pay for. I reckon, King of the Bill should set minimum time to display the top spot banner according to the price. Let say, current price is $91, just let the top spot banner stay for at least 12 hours before they accept another bid. And the time should be longer when the price is higher. So, each advertiser will have a chance to get a return for their investment, which is what matter most, rather than the owner of King of the Bill get the money as quickly as he can.

“Online advertising meets King of the hill, with a twist!”
Thats what being said about this unique advertising website. For me, it is another brilliant ideas. And it is not surprise me when it come from a person who made a headlines not so long ago with his forehead advertising.
Even though the ideas is not so original (check linkexperiment.com, pagehole.com), but I am confident this site going to be a hit. Apart from the heavy promotion from the developer, the site also have an interesting design.
Basically, the price for the top ads on this site will get higher by $1 on each bid. As I’m writing this post, the highest price is $70 and I’m sure it will get higher and higher. But, one question that I have in my mind (I am sure others might have the same thinking), how high it can go.
This site is getting a decent traffic right now but I’m quite surprise that the developer decided to release the script behind this site. I’m sure we will see lots of copycats soon, but I believe the developer have a very good reason to do that.
So, what you waiting for, be a king of the bill while you can afford it.

Even though $1 price is very cheap but I believe if the link is permanent, it will be more value to the advertiser.
The idea behind this site is unique, even though it is somehow remind me to Link Experiment and King of The Bill. The design is very minimal and simple to ensure the site to load faster, unlike most of site in this genre, where it is full of heavy graphics.
I believe this site will be a success even though it is very hard to emulate the success of the Million Dollar Homepage.
